If your child loves pink, then some pink bedding can be an easy way to integrate the color in a bedroom. Much easier than painting the walls, putting up wallpaper or putting in carpeting. You could also add pink throw pillows, a rug or some curtains. The chevron pattern is a favorite with children, teens and adults alike. It is a classic that never seems to go out of fashion.

Extra-thick mattress pad
A mattress pad protects your mattress while adding a soft layer of comfortable padding for you to sleep on. The extra thick type of pads are supposed to provide even more comfort, but this really depends on individual tastes. For some people, softer does not necessarily mean better. If your mattress is already fairly thick and you add an extra-thick pad to it, make sure that your sheets can fit around both. You may end up having to buy extra deep contour sheets.

Toile comforter set
Toile patterns tend to be subtle. And for that reason, they are ideal for adding a stylish touch to a room without ever overdoing it. Some patterns can be so bold that they tend to be distracting, whereas toile designs are likely to complement a room’s decor. Toile bedding, throw pillows and lampshades are an easy and relatively inexpensive way to change the look of your bedroom. Many toile bedding sets are of light color, and so they may need to be washed more often than darker colored sets.
