As your baby begins to take their first steps you want to encourage them to keep on standing and walking as much as they can. A push toy walker provides your baby with a sturdy handle that they can lean on as they work on their balance or use to pull themselves up. Some toy walkers also come with a variety of play things like wood blocks and/or cut-out shape sorters for those moments when your child has had enough walking and flops back down on the floor for some play-time.

Although there are plastic versions of these toys, the wooden ones look much nicer in my opinion. As for sturdiness, I don’t know which material is better.
