A vampire costume can be quite dashing and elegant, with its cape, vest and ruffled shirt, or it can be as horrific as you want it to be: just add a lot of fake blood, some bloody big pointy teeth, some bite marks on your neck, tattered clothes with rips in them, and even a fake stake-through-the-heart shirt attachment. It all depends on what kind of party you will be attending, and what kind of impression you want to make.
