If you have the room for it, a kitchen island can be a great addition to your kitchen. It’s always good to have extra counter space, and an island provides just that. If the island is big enough, it can also serve as a breakfast or lunch table when combined with stools. And if it incorporates a pull-out trash can, all the better. It’s always practical to have your trash can close at hand.
