When looking for a kids music stand for your son or daughter, there are a couple of things to look for. One is that the part that holds the music sheet holding should be deep enough to accommodate a music method book or extra sheets of music with room for a pen or pencil. Also, if your child will be bringing the music stand back and forth from home to school to lessons, a foldable music stand, that can easily fit in an instrument bag or case, would definitely be the way to go.
