Some costumes are easily made at home, but in the case of a fireman costume, it may be best to buy it pre-assembled. There are some great kids firefighter costumes out there, some of which include the fire helmet, a bullhorn, a toy fire extinguisher and a badge. So if your child wants to be a hero at Halloween, or just have fun pretending to be one anytime of the year, a fireman costume is a great choice.
