A great way to get your children to learn about the big world around them is to have a globe of the world around the house. Unlike less interactive older globes, there are now globes that can provide audio and visual information about a specific geographical area that you choose to learn about. This allows a more educational aspect of the globe than juts seeing where a certain city or country is on the map. Also great for the classroom and for those being home schooled.
