Floor lamp / Reading lamp combination

While a floor lamp can provide a decent amount of light for most activities, when it comes to reading or doing detailed work, you need a stronger, more direct light source like a reading lamp. If for whatever reason, you can only have one lamp, then consider purchasing a floor lamp/reading lamp combination. Just make sure you get one of high quality as the base on cheaper lamps can be a little rocky.
