Since 1933, dressing up as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz movie has been a popular Halloween costume choice for both young girls and adult women. There are many depictions of the outfit Dorothy wore throughout the movie and usually consists of a blue and white dress with white, lacy short sleeves with red sequin bows attach to each sleeve alongside red ribbon trim. A pair of matching red hair bows adds a Dorothy cuteness while the iconic sparkle of Dorothy’s ruby red slippers finishes the outfit nicely. Memorize a few lines from the classic film and you’re good to go.
