Wood paper tray

As more and more offices try to become “paperless”, we are bound to see less and less paper trays on desks. But if you are still using paper and find that leaving it loose on the desk leads to sheets flying off, a tray is a great thing to have. As a cheaper alternative you could leave stacks of paper in the partly opened wrapping they were sold in, but this is not very attractive, and not nearly as practical.

Glass monitor stand

Monitors always come with their own stand, so why would you need to rest one on a separate shelf? The answer is that monitors have rather short stands, and unless you like sitting very low at your desk, you will be looking down at your screen, rather then viewing it straight ahead. A simple shelf solve this problem, and has the added benefit of providing you with extra storage space below it. For a sleek and stylish look, go for a glass model.

Horizontal desktop file organizer trays

Since file organizer trays are only meant to hold small amounts of paper, there should not be much issues in terms of quality. Possibly, if you get a cheap plastic model, it could maybe crack, or be off-kilter, but otherwise, your choice will be more of matter of appearance. You can choose from wood, metal and plastic models in various colors, and various numbers of trays. Make sure that if you are using legal size files, the tray you get can accommodate them.
