If you’ve had to endure a lengthy power outage for whatever reason, hopefully you were prepared. One of the must-haves of any emergency black-out kit should be a battery operated desk lamp along with at least a few packs of high-end batteries. Also recommended in this it would be a battery or crank powered radio and a non-wireless telephone that can be hooked up to the phone line.
