Tension closet rod

Installing a closet rod is not a super-easy thing to do if you are not particularly handy, but it is not that difficult either. You either have to screw the rod directly in the wall, or into pieces of wood that have been screwed into the wall. But if this is not feasible or possible, a tension rod could be the answer. Just make sure it can withstand the weight of  a fair amount of clothing without slipping off the wall.
